Natural Awakenings Magazine hosted an Earth Day Expo 2012 event. The Expo brought together green professionals for the community. Mamma's Planet Earth was delighted to be there spreading the love by participating in the Earth day program. We read the book and shared resources for sustainable living and topped it off with the coloring our our earth! A Big thanks to Natural Awakenings, Stonehedge NYC and all the children who participated on this important day. Happy Earth Day everyone!
We are so happy for today. May you celebrate this day and every day with joy, consciousness and awareness for our earth and all it creatures! We love you. Love, Mamma's Planet Earth Hi everyone, we had such an amazing time with the kids and their families at Hilltop Hanover Farm and Environmental Center. The sun shined brightly and chickens greeted us as we read the book, it seems they were happy too! The children had great ideas of how they can Reduce, Reuse and Recycle in their homes, school and with the world. It was really wonderful to hear all their thoughts and to see their ideas through their art. The garden was lovely and all the baby kale and strawberries were beginning to spout. What a wonderful
way to celebrate the earth. With nature and its children! Thank you HealthBarn USA, Hilltop Hanover Farm and Speyer School families. Come join us on Earth Day as we read "Mamma's Planet Earth" at the Natural Awakenings Earth Day Expo 2012 on Sunday, April 22 at 11am – 3pm Plaza at 235 W. 48th Street between Broadway and 8th Ave.

See you soon! Mamma's Planet Earth Nature is where it all begins for the Hawaiians. In fact, they call themselves Keiki o ka'Aina, Children of the Land." - M.J. Harden
We feel deep gratitude to have had the opportunity to visit Maui, Hi. Maui is also called the "Valley Isle". It is filled with beautiful colorful flowers, diverse mix of plants, exotic wildlife, precious marine life in oceans and streams, along with ancient mountains, valleys and forests and loving people. The Hawaiian culture has many values that we honor. One we found was that of preserving their ecosystems. We felt very much at home and as "Keiki o ka'Aina", Children of the Land. We enjoyed our journey and we continue to always have aloha (love & compassion) in our hearts as Hawaii will always be our ohana (family). Mahalo (Thank you), Mamma's Planet Earth |
