Love,
Mamma's Planet Earth
Aloha! Earth Day at Ke‘opuolani Park was a great success we spend time with the keiki and their families sharing how we can help the earth along with planting various organic seeds. Afterwards we had the keiki parade. We marched and sang with local musician, Marty Dread: "One Love, One Heart, Let's get together and feel all right". We had a lot of fun! One very special moment I encountered was planting some organic chia seeds with precious baby Coral. She was very engaged and at the very end she surprise all of us by signing the word "more". The depth in her eyes tells a story of the future. She is here to help our earth. Let us plant more Coral! for you and for all the children of this earth. Love, Mamma's Planet Earth

Aloha everyone, today we cleaned up at Kama'ole Beach park and later we cleaned up at Haleakala. On the beach, the turtles were happy to have their areas all cleaned. At Haleakala the nene were happy climbing on the rocks. Let's continue to malama (take care of) the aina (land) Mahalo! Happy Earth Day everyone, we want to thank everyone today and also all the children and parents who make everyday earth day.Your efforts in taking caring and restore our precious earth is important. We love you and keep up the good work. Love, Mamma's Planet Earth "May the tree of our life be firmly rooted in the soil of love, let good deeds be the leaves on that tree. May words of kindness form its flowers and may peace be its fruits." Its April, month of the young child! It is a time when individals and communities come together to recognize the needs and the rights of young children. Here I am with Jubilee(left), Hawana(right) and Mayor Alan Arakawa planting pinwheels in honor of "Prevent Child Abuse Month". Let's keep our awareness up respecting all the children who will take care of our future.
Hi everyone today is the United Nations’ (UN) International Youth Day. This day brings awareness and recognizes efforts of the world’s youth and its global effects. This years theme is “Building a Better World: Partnering with Youth”. Today, close your eyes and take a deep breath, then look into your heart and ask how can I serve? Some ideas we like are planting trees and veggies, recycling and composting, feeding the homeless in soup kitchens, visiting the elderly, helping or taking care of an animal, listening compassionately to a friend, and using kind and positive words towards yourself and others. Any effort you make in your life to make the world a happier place counts. You are the voices of earth and its citizens. We are so grateful to know there are children in this world making such a difference. We love you!
Love, Mamma's Planet Earth Hi everyone, Happy World Environment Day!

Continue to send us pictures of how you're helping the earth. Thanks for doing your part, you make the earth happy! http://www.unep.org/wed/ What a wonderful afternoon of family fun with HealthBarnUSA at Abma's farm. Kids went on a scavenger hunt! Some activities included discovering vegetable gardens, learning how to build a compost, yoga all these things can be incorporated on a daily basis for a healthy life. We were so excited when kids got to the Mamma's Planet Earth station. We had read-aloud and talked about how we have the power in our lives to open our hearts and help the earth everyday. After read-aloud the illustrator/artist Edith Rojas lead the groups to creating ways in which they can help the earth. We are the change and thank you to all the children and families who incorporate these healthy changes daily! "Mamma's Planet Earth" had a blast celebrating Mother's Day with all the kids and their families! We made Mother's day cards to honor all the mothers in our life and also discussed eco-friendly ways on how we can respect and take care of our beloved mother earth.
